How did you guys enjoy class outing today? Hehe. Mrs Tan so generous eh.

So for those people who didn't come today... basically we met at Macritchie busstop. Then took bus to Mrs Tan's house. Ate/slacked/stoned/played card games there until 11+, then zao.

Philosophy at Breakfast

All my relatives are like back home in China (and London and New York) and leaving us five here in Singapore alone. So the only way of saying hi is through long-distance calls. And even today the line's being crowded pretty bad.

I loved the 春节联欢晚会!!! So nice! It was on CCTV4, if you have any clue what that is. My dad recorded 2 DVD-fuls of it.

I played bridge today! With my sisters and Bokai from RJC, haha. My sisters were learning too; up till today all they've learnt is tai tee. Um. Bokai was going to teach us mahjong too, but no time. Because today we were like hopping from one end of the island to another and back again!

In my spare time I blogged a bit. Um. Then I did my Art Project conceptualisation. Then I learnt to sing Gom Semariga (that cute song from Full House) and watched the Russell Peters video clip in my room. Hmm then I read the Astronomy Textbook and Brian Greene's The Elegant Universe. Hmm, it seems quite a lot.

What I haven't done is any homework.

hey people! hope you guys had fun going around, saying hi to relatives, playing cards/mahjong and collecting hongbao.. and snacking all day long w/o guilt!

my angpow collection is sad.. haha. cos every time the ratio is 1: 00(infinity) >_<. this is one of the reasons why being an only child sucks. but besides that , yay, is looking forward to tmr's gathering and tue's one as well!

i heard that there'll be some class blog competition thing? and apparently more n more classes are setting up class blogs.. we must do our best kays! don't all go MIA. cos the blog misses you and needs you. =D

CNY Banner Painting

Ehh.. the painting was supposed to start at 9, but obviously everyone (excluding Andy) was late. Haha. So the people there were Andy, Damien, Li Rao, Ruo Han and me. Yik Hung and Pei Di joined us a while after we started painting.

Before we started, the guys posed for a 开工 photo.
And we sat around watching Andy chalk the design...








Then we started the painting, and Andy did a demo of painting the gradient.

可是，黄城也不坏。我和其他人到食堂坐下。一会儿，感觉到闷。我便走到右翅膀 (Right Wing)。然后，铃声响了。我进入大会堂听洪大校长演讲。我想睡觉。他说话很难听。每次说到“李农人” (Family -> Farmer Lee) 的时候，就听到别人笑。我不明白。但是，我也跟着笑。我坐在会堂一个多小时，便睡着了。

当我醒来时，另一个人正在说话。我听不懂因为我很笨。爸爸经常都说我很笨。不过没关系。我偷偷爬出会堂到处去看看。黄城很小，也不是很黄。我不知道它为什么叫黄城。哈哈，我实在笨。我到鱼缸里去。我看到鱼。我又想睡觉。我躺在沙发上，却被一个姓萧的老师骂了一顿。他说：“这里几时变成 cafeteria?”我不知说什么好。他说了我几句，便走掉了。我不知道自己做错了什么。我也走掉了。

十二点钟，我去吃饭。我叫了一盘鸡饭。饭比鸡好吃。我叫叔叔加饭。他很开心。我也很开心。所以我回家了。

我很喜欢初踏入黄城的感觉。我希望明年再来。

累了。每天8点多吃饭，明天看来得9点吃。=（ 这是选修怪combi的苦恼！但这也是种执著。总是在class bench徘徊。break= class bench. lectures= sleeptime. tutorials= wasting time. 那我干吗上学呢？就是这样笨笨的上了那么多年。或许还没正式上课吧。最好以后不会像现在这样无所事事。

其实在怪怪的时间在classbench 是挺不错的，可认识不同的sixErs (yay sixErs!!)和seniors.

我不知道自己在胡言些什么。所以若你还是清醒的，快把我叫醒吧。好像依旧是2005年，我过了天桥就到南中了。好像还在迎新。只是少了游戏罢了。

1) I'm thinking of a class anthem, but nothing too popular please because I've got a phobia for too-popular things.
2) I'm thinking about an archives dropdown below the posts panel.
3) I could give everyone a personalised avatar they could add in when they post. That's really going to rock.
4) Set up a class troupe. Which is crazy. And name it Mighty Duff and Snæfriður!
5) Blog music. I advocate Hayley Westenra because she's from NZ and the location where the music video of Pokarekare Ana was shot is exactly the same as the one in this background.

We haven't done our best for our class, and I know it because I haven't done my best for my class.

I could have flicked out the lyrics from behind my back when we were all on stage, no matter how embarrassing it would seem. I could have put some green into our class flag. I could have laid a hand on the skit and told Damien to buy the cloth instead. I could have stayed with my class on Friday night, just to give certain consolation to you guys. It was all my fault. I wasn't in my right mind at all. I'm sorry.

whee! my second post

whee. the only things i managed to accomplish during war games yesterday was to fill quite a few water bombs for the fac, and to get my face sunburnt. so dont be surprised on monday if you see a girl with super red cheeks. haha. i assure you she is not blushing.

um, must apologise for disappearing halfway during the campfire and miraculously re-appearing again later. heh. went to meet my ex-classmates who came to crash.. very long never see them already so we had to um, talk!

Following up on XY's entry:

well.. yesterday when we finally got together as a class (or part thereof) and sang the college songs/did mass dance, i worried for abit... what if i couldn't stay on in HC after results release? i will miss 6E a whole lot, and like xy, i really fear having to huan ban too. even though i dont really like my subject comb now, i dont think im gonna change it after 3 months coz ah, 6E rocks, and i really hope we stick together. i know cliques are inevitable in every class, but i guess when its the time for class stuff, then we gotta come together as a CLASS instead of, well, 2 distinct cliques, or groups, however you wanna call it.

and after the skit/song thingey yesterday, xy and i were feeling kinda bad. and watching people around us, we realised that there are people who actually care, who actually gives a damn about how we fared. but for the others who didnt seem to, i guess we kinda convinced ourselves that its not like they dont care, but rather they are not showing it? so yea, pls let that be true, or it will be damn sad.

and for everything bad that happened yesterday, we can always blame it on being friday the thirteenth!

on a brighter note: hey hey! how about having a birthday party for all the january babies? according to the class list, the jan babies are:

yesterday was damn sad. first we lost the war games, den the skit, den the freaking long queue for a sandwich which took aeons to arrive. its like the apocalyse for me!!!! Aaarrrgh!!! (I'm screaming out loud) What a nice end to the orientation. . . . . . . . i seriously think we need to have commitment to the class. not just trying to talk, walk, eat together.. but to actually do something useful. For the past week I've seen people leaving for no reason, angry for no reason, missing for no reason, arrrghh!!!!! I'm screaming again. X(It was a nice campfire night though I spent like half the time tryin to find the class. thx for the card u guys wrote, cheered me up a bit.. I wish next week won't suck!

war games was.. for us, a lot of mistakes with waterbombs. ok, at least, for me. i guess my lesson is that i should never ever trust guys, esp guys from other classes. =( they just cheat you outright.

campfire started off without much excitement because we got to the central plaza(or is it inner?) rather late...and no one could see anything, so we went upstairs. which was not much better either. but the dances were cool! =) AND SO IS OUR FLAG. by then i was too aware of how many 6e-rs were still together and i must admit i do feel sad, disappointed even whenever i look at my frens who seem to have so much class spirit. 6g's huan ban perf made me wonder how things would be like if i did change class. my combi fits s63's better.

somehow, over the past week, i guess i've gotten used to certain things.. like lisheng+jiexun playing the guitar and lisheng singing during breaks.. scanning the crowd for the rest of the girls and ruohan n chuxin... christina's leng xiaohua and "say somethings" , shihan's mysterious disappearance.. lirao trying to protect all of nature's creatures by picking up insects that may be stepped on in the central plaza..damien contradicting people, andy speaking in english that people like me+chris do not understand..jedi reading books.. and having illegal card-playing sessions! waiting for each other... finding each other at long last i hope these aren't the only stuff that will define 6e but there are some people trying hard to gel this class. and i will miss these things all of you if i huan banned. i was quite scared i would have to when they made all the announcements the first day.. cos when i found out we're the computing class i freaked out. first thought: Wrong class!

but like mich(a girl from 6g) found out, she didn't like her class one bit at the beginning, yet over the past week she realised that she wouldn't trade her class for anything. same here.

okay this sounds as though i'm graduating from 6e now huh. frankly, i don't know how else to express what i feel, but who'd understand it better than people from 6e? darn it! i want to know how you guys feel! don't tell me there's only so few people who cares.:((
