Important announcements by an insignificant person!!!
Hey! 06S6E SaEints! Professor |ex is back! wow...promo over le!!! However, I have a few announcements to make. - Festival of Sports
Wow! I would say" What a Cinderella story for 06S6E!" I am really impressed with you guys during the festival of sports especially table tennis. I have to admit that our team was very lucky in terms of formation of players playing against other classes. Nevertheless, we also went through a tough route in playing against S77, S6k, S71 (quarter-finals), S63 (semi-finals) and S6C (finals). During FOS, I have observed a few things which are like:
i) my first time seeing KHAI SHIN in PE attire in my entire life leh!!!
ii) Li Sheng, Peidi and Xinmiao are training extremely hard for this competition in which they improved too. Li Sheng knows how to produce a fore-hand topspin ball, peidi knows how to serve a back-hand topspin ball and SURPRISING xinmiao (my doubles partner most of the time) knows how to hit the ball as well as serve a ball.
iii) Even sharon was tempted to get a taste of ping-pong leh. Furthermore, most of the class managed to get a chance to play table tennis at the high school section (when we pon the student forum =x)
iv) Ryan (06S6A) knows how to play table tennis!!! Despite of his looks (indeed ren bu ke mao xiang, hai shui bu ke dou liang)
Lastly, I would like to congrats the class for emerging as the overall champion in table tennis. Without the flavoring support from the class, (girls forfeited the netball match against S78 as well as the class staying back so late for that period of time), we wouldn't have come so far! Once again, I am so proud of you guys!!!
- Mid-Autumn Festival
Hmmx...I guess everyone enjoyed MAF especially the part where we hold on tightly to each other (some gay-ing around with me, u know who are u!!!), singing our lungs out. I think that's going to be a precious moment for us to remember. However, some (including me) who could not get a dance partner for the mass dance! Sian! Besides that, thanks to Christina and Li Sheng for providing the lightsticks for free! (they earned supernormal profit leh!) - Birthday cum Class Chalet cum *(Farewell Party)
Eh...We shall keep the fun going! I have booked a chalet in advance reserved for the class for gathering purposes. Nonetheless, it is to celebrate my 18th da shou. The venue of the chalet is at Pasir Ris SAF chalet from 6th to 8th November 2006. Checking-in time is about 2pm. I really hope that the whole class could turn up and reserved these 3 solid days for this chalet. Perhaps on the 6th, we could meet up and buy the food for the chalet together. Account from my manager, the chalet is pretty big. The open sea is about 10min walk from the chalet’s entrance. I suggest that we could have some bonding sessions like having our own mass dance and cheer. Xinyi will be put to in charge of this. Moreover, we could have tons of gambling sessions such as blackjack, mahjong, bingo etc… We can also have sports like volleyball, tug-o-war, etc… In the night, we could have some do some breaking-in again. (haha…singhwa, can remember the fac camp!!! Heeee…we shall do mission impossible 4)
- Community Involvement Project
Well…I might need you guys to help me for the coming major project. I guarantee that this event is definitely a bigger other than the first two small scale projects, SANDsational Race (by u guys) and Night Cycling (by jiexun & OAC). This event is a Tanjong Pager GRC YEC project, which MP of TP GRC will be presented as Guest-of-honor. The name of this project is Youth Extravaganza 2006. It will be held in Sentosa Island on the 10th December 2006. It consists of three main components:
(a) Amazing Race around Sentosa Island
The Amazing Race aims to cater to all outdoor adventure enthusiasts who love sweating it out, running around with a group to overcome obstacles. The race is not only designed to test a team’s power of the mind, but also the body as well as teamwork. Teams will need to navigate around the island to accomplish 15 tasks at the various check points. Top five teams walk away with attractive prizes. The committee hopes to get a total of 50 teams of 4 members each.
(b) Beach Sports Competition
The Beach Sports Competition includes beach volleyball and beach soccer. Top 4 teams of each sport will walk away with trophies. The committee hopes to get a total of 20 teams of 4 players per game.
(c) Youth Carnival
The Youth Carnival aims to foster entrepreneurship in youths. Targeted at the natural crowd of Sentosa, the carnival will comprise of handicrafts, fashion and game stalls managed by the youths. This will also be a showcase of creativity of youths nowadays. The committee hopes to get a total of 30 stalls, out of which 10 are from schools and youth organisations.
I am aware that most of you guys will be away. Hence, I won’t be expecting more half a class for this event. Meanwhile, I am planning for the next Tanjong Pagar GRC project which is the DAY CYCLING with MPs. This event most probably will be held in mid-June 2007.
- Others Matters
Ahem…A few more days, the film entitled “Ultraman returns” will soon be lease. Haix…I have started to make some further arrangements already. Most probably after the release of the “film”, I might depart u guys. I will be going to MI due to the subject they offered which included principle of accounting. Furthermore, another reason for not going to other JCs is table tennis politics. Well, it is so sad to say such a thing but no choice. REN SUAN BU RU TIAN SUAN. I hope u guys have a wonderful time. I really enjoyed being in this class as compared to my previous classes. *(that’s the reason why I hope everyone can come.)
Christina and Xinyi always writing secret message to each other. Peidi never fail to act cute. Sharon who is deemed to be oily. Li Sheng always being so competitive. Jiexun always daydream of Fungmin. Yikhung always peeping at Xinmiao. Ye Qing like the tube of elephant super glue, sticking to Singhwa always. Damien and Li Rao having a secret affair. Yixiong, Jedi and Khai Shin fighting over the charming princess, Pinyu (Opps! Pretty princess I mean) LaySze, f**k-cy ladyyyyy. Jonathon crazy over Jap stuffs like anime. Weili, ZHEN MEI LI, who loves e-baying. Zichun and Desmond, the two imbiahs who live in their own world, normal people won’t understand them one. Yingshi, Shilin and Bochao who never fail to mug if there’s opportunities and are no where to be found most of the time. Andy, a hidden dragon of our class, who has the professional sense of dancing wild wild west.
Mrs. Eileen Tan giving her best in ensuring our assignments are well-presented (PW), always putting on her smile? Ms Goh, a very loud and clear teacher, who inspires those who take computing with her famous phase, “Are u clear?” times 3. Our very doctor Choe with his vulnerable skills and technique on GP, ensuring that we are not in doubt with his, “Is anybody lost at this moment?” and “Well Donnneeee!” Mr. Lau teachings with his uniquely notation, “B/P –lusss”. Mr Ng without his hypnotizing language, the class won’t be mugging so hard as before. Mrs. Tan shares her past-years experiences, who never fails to whine during each lesson.
