Singnet Users Alert!

Recently there's been some screw-up with SingNet, i THINK.
Sometimes you'll find your internet connections being cut off, except for http://www.google.com.sg/ and MSN Messenger. Why? I don't know. There are two ways you can rectify this problem:

1. Wait for the problem to rectify itself, which you could wait up to a few hours or a few days, I don't know. So please, try the second solution.

2. Go to your favourite browser's Internet Options / Settings. Navigate to the part where you can set your proxy. For IE users - Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings. For Firefox users - Tools -> Options -> General -> Connection Settings. Set your HTTP proxy to - proxy.singnet.com.sg and port to 8080.

By right, there shouldn't be any lag in speed, I THINK (not sure - ask zc). But even if there is, it's better than not being able to access at all, yeah?
